Girafe is on the Merle locus and acts similarly! It lightens the whole coat, showing patches of the basecoat in a giraffe-like pattern of square-ish patches. Patches may have smooth or ragged-edges. Patches must be clear inside and not include lighter or darker patches (see Wild Merle for patches).

In homozygous form, Girafe has a different expression and becomes Double Girafe.

Combines with Merle to make Wild Merle and combined with Tabby to make Clouded Tabby.

When combined with the Abricot dilution, Girafe has an Abricot Girafe expression (see gallery).
